Bright and energetic, Tinkerbell eagerly embraced her ability to help other people in need. She found a despondent Regina, whom she happily reached out to in order to help her find the one thing she so desperately needs - love. Ignoring the Blue Fairy's warnings, Tinkerbell stole pixie dust to point Regina to her true love. However, Regina was unable to put aside the revenge that she had held on to for so long, and harshly sent Tinkerbell away. Because of her direct disobedience to the Blue Fairy's orders, Tinkerbell's wings were taken away, and she became heartbroken and bitter.
Regina and Tinkerbell met again in Neverland, after Tink had been dismissed as a fairy. She realized that if she let her bitterness fester about Regina, then she would end up with the same hard, dark heart. She assisted in the mission to save Henry, and because of her ability to believe in herself again, was able to save her friends and the Blue Fairy's life by destroying Peter Pan's shadow. Because she proved herself, the Blue Fairy was able to believe in her again, and made her a fairy once more.
